Application:

The joint could primarily reduce the quiver and the noise of the piping system; completely solve the different piping problems as displacement of joint, axial flex and etc.

Features: Improve the flow circulation and avoid the bellow deformation. Absorbs thermal expansion and shock. 

Structure: bellows + flat welding flanges. 

Main material: Compensates converting misalignment 

Bellows: stainless steel 304. 

Flanges: stainless steel 304 or carbon steel. Compensates for exhaust converter misalignment.

Rubber Expansion Joint


Expansion joints are specially engineered products inserted in a rigid piping system to achieve one or more of the following:

1) Absorb movement
2) Improved thermal stability
3) Relieve system strain due to thermal change, load stress, pumping surges, wear or settling
4) Reduce mechanical noise
5) Compensate for misalignment
6) Eliminate electrolysis between dissimilar metals


Structure


Rubber Element: At its core, it features a high-quality rubber body. This rubber is carefully selected based on the application requirements, such as EPDM for water-based systems or NBR for oil-resistant applications. The rubber is highly elastic, allowing it to deform under various stresses.


Reinforcement Layers: To enhance its strength and durability, the rubber is often reinforced with layers of fabric or metal mesh. These layers prevent the rubber from over-expanding or bursting under pressure.


Flange or End Fittings: On both ends, it is equipped with flanges or other types of end fittings. These fittings are used to connect the expansion joint to the pipeline, typically through bolts or other fastening methods.
