Restrained Coupling for PE

Restrained coupling is a tensile resistant flange adaptor for PE pipes, it contains an end resistant mechanism, that grips and seals onto PVC & PE Pipes to prevent the pipe pulling off from the pipe system. It's suitable for use with water, drainage, sewage and pipe systems. A Restrained Coupling for PE is an essential device for PE pipe connections, ensuring reliability and safety.

Structure

It consists of a durable outer shell, usually made of high-strength plastic or corrosion-resistant metal like stainless steel, offering excellent protection and structural support. Inside, a rubber or elastomeric gasket creates a tight seal to prevent fluid or gas leakage. The key feature is the restraining mechanism, which may include internal teeth or locking rings that firmly grip the PE pipe, preventing axial movement.

Function and Benefits

It excels in leak prevention, as the gasket guarantees a reliable seal under various conditions. The axial restraint function is crucial in preventing pipe separation caused by ground movement, thermal expansion, or hydraulic forces. Moreover, it's easy to install, reducing installation time and labor costs significantly.

Applications

Widely used in water supply systems, it ensures leak-free and stable connections in municipal and rural water supply networks. In gas distribution, it safeguards PE gas pipelines against leaks and separation, ensuring safety. It's also suitable for industrial fluid transportation and irrigation systems, providing a secure and efficient connection solution for PE pipes.
